Senior Accountant

Job description

Summary: Responsible for general ledger activities to ensure complete and accurate account reconciliations, issuing checks across parts of the organization, analysis, accruals, and fixed asset maintenance. Duties: - Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close; meet internal and external reporting deadline. - Timely completion of monthly account reconciliations. - Accurate preparation of journal entries as part of month-end closing process. - Manage intercompany sales, payables and receivables, ensuring proper reconciliation and elimination at period end. - Support daily/weekly treasury functions by processing wires, checks, cash forecasting and other daily cash reporting functions. - Assist in updating documentation of processes and procedures. - Participate and partner with the finance team on key business initiatives. - Various audit schedules and functions as needed to support a clean and efficient year-end audit. - Other duties as assigned. Education and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 5+ years of related experience. Private equity owned, public accounting and foreign currency experience a plus.
