Job description

Amentum is seeking an Electronics Technician II (RIS) to provide support for a position located at Tyndall AFB, FL. Responsibilities: Range Instrumentation Systems (RIS) : Communications systems, data link systems, radar systems, destruct systems, computer-controlled console systems, displays, ground stations, RF systems and tower mounted equipment, range instrumentation, fiber optics and other equipment assigned to the aerial targets contract. - Utilize test equipment to certify operation and troubleshoot systems for example: 915 MHz Test Sets, DLS, DLSr, Destruct Systems, etc. - Perform depot repairs associated with RIS. Performs organizational and intermediate (O&I) type maintenance and repairs to aircraft, targets, radar, COMSEC material and other associated equipment in the Aerial Targets contract - Typical work may include: Operates, inspects, repairs, maintains, services, rebuilds, modifies and troubleshoots AATTCS and Range Communications - Applies technical knowledge to perform duties through the use of manufacturer manuals, technical orders, regulations and COTS publications and other written documentation - Assists in the development and installation of modifications ass...
