ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Promptly respond to customer quote requests with accurate quotations, noting any applicable exceptions. - Enter and maintain customer purchase orders and releases accurately. - Ensure the proper part number revision on the customer order matches the system. - Keep track of open order reports and check with production and purchasing on status of open orders. - Professionally answer incoming calls. - Be a liaison between production and customer service. - Any other duties needed to help drive our vision and abide by our organization’s values. SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Excellent written and verbal Communication skills - Knowledge of Microsoft Office and strong computer skills. - Ability to operate all customer service-related systems and software programs effectively. - Must be an analytical thinker with problem solving skills - Highly organized and detail oriented - Able to effectively facilitate meetings and provide procedural training - Have good temperament to handle both customer / internal issues, disputes and emergencies - Fluent typist
