Opportunity Details Position Title: Weekend/Weekday PRN General or Addiction Psychiatrist Location: Moultrie, GA: Turning Point Care Center is one of the largest behavioral health systems in South Georgia, allowing patients to transition between levels of care. Turning Point offers a full continuum of programs for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment issues. Treatment programs combine bio-psychosocial therapy with the 12-step recovery philosophy. Position Overview: - Role: PRN, on-site patient rounding and overnight telephonic call - Patient Population: Adult Dual Diagnosis/ Substance Abuse - Schedule: Weekend PRN, PRN vacation weekday coverage (minimum of 1 weekend per month) - Employment Type: PRN for weekends and vacation coverage - Daily caseload: caseload will vary - EMR: Cerner Key Responsibilities: - Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for adult patients. - Participate in daily treatment team meetings. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. - Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
