Red Arch Solutions is hiring a Database Engineer on our contract in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. As the team prototypes and builds the system, the on-premises database behind it will need support. ServiceNow CMDB knowledge is a plus, but not a requirement. Basic RDBMs knowledge is needed. This task is part of an 8-year program that will have legs and allow growth and long-term stability at an easy to access location. ServiceNow is at the heart of the agency’s plans and getting in here on the ground floor is a smart career move. Qualifications: - Support the database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow and analysis activities - Support the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, optimization, development and/or maintenance efforts - Support the development of long and short term requirements for database administration and design - Assist in developing databases, database parser software, and database loading software - Translate a set of requirements and data into a usable database schema by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts and macros, updates existing queries, creates new ones to manipulate data into a master fil...
