Drilling Section Leader

Job description

The Drilling Section Leader has responsibility for the operational safety, efficiency, production and client relations of the drilling operation. He or she is responsible for implementing and upholding safety and environmental compliance requirements. The responsibility of the Drilling Section Leader is to provide onboard leadership and direction for meeting the customers drilling program requirements within Noble programs, policies and procedures. Ensure rig budget and supplies are met. QUALIFICATIONS: - High School Diploma or equivalent. - 1+ years of experience as an Assistant Rig Manager. - If required, MODU OIM License, Unrestricted, Surface Units Underway or Surface Units on Location. Working towards Unrestricted License. - Strong technical background in all aspects of drilling operations and support equipment - Excellent leadership, communication and management skills. - Proficient computer skills in office software and company proprietary software. - Experience with Dynamic Positioning Systems if MODU so equipped. - Experienced in marine environmental and hazardous material regulations and procedures. - Experienced in offshore marine operations, industrial environment, and...
