Job description

The Facilities department is responsible for the operations and maintenance, renovations, and construction of all buildings, grounds and utilities of Plymouth State University. These services are provided to develop and maintain a functional, attractive and safe environment conducive to learning and to support the University’s tradition of excellence. The Manager of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Building Automation Systems reports to the Director of Facilities and is responsible for the overall leadership, direction and coordination of approximately 12 staff members of varied trades. This position is responsible for the on-going management and operation of campus systems and critical infrastructure such as the energy management system, life safety systems, high voltage electrical distribution, co-generation facility and campus wide steam distribution system, campus management of water and sewer mains, and all equipment associated with listed utilities.
