Job description
The mission of the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences is the development of professional health care practitioners through innovation, individualized, and quality classroom, clinical, and distance education. GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Campus Librarian, responsible for library management, including but not limited to: acquisition; cataloging; circulation procedures and policies; inventory and purchasing; technological support including computers, printers and 3D Printers; desk coverage; and supervision of student workers. The Assistant Librarian also supports the Campus Librarian with reference duties on desk and online; inter-library loan requests, online chat, and library instruction, as needed. Knowledgeable with Library Information Systems. Note: this position requires regular weekend hours. This is a campus-based position located on the San Marcos campus in San Marcos, CA and requires a presence on campus 5 days per week.
