Business Data Steward

Job description

The Business Data Steward is responsible for ensuring that the data within their purview, including the Business Unit (BU) data asset inventory, data consumed, data produced, and data being shared is inventoried, well-managed and fit for intended use in accordance with Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) Instruction, standards, and procedures. Drives the operationalization of data governance across their business unit and is empowered to make decisions on behalf of the Business Data Owner. - Drive the operationalization of data governance within their purview - Inform and execute BU data governance plan for data within their purview - Define and monitor performance metrics to demonstrate execution of BU data governance goals and associated plans, determine gaps and recommend / implement changes to improve operations related to data governance and risk mitigation in accordance with EDG framework - Function as a point of contact and support, facilitate, or coordinate resolution with respective business area data teams for all data related questions and issues pertaining to respective data asset(s) - Establish and implement data governance controls in coordination with BU Risk Officer to...
