At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.: We are looking for a Senior Operations Technology Engineer who will be responsible for delivering digitization / Operational Technology (OT) programs either as a project leader and key technical contributor and for identifying, implementing, and supporting digital manufacturing projects across the Smith + Nephew Hull and Melton sites, a focus on implementing Manufacturing 4.0 initiatives that include the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), production monitoring/control, data analysis, and factory simulation. Senior Operations Technology Engineer will develop OT strategies and technology roadmaps and provides technical direction to non-OT partners in IT, Quality, and Operations as appropriate / required and will work with outside development partners, suppliers, and integrators to ensure deliverables to the Project Plan.
