Overview R&P is looking for a Business and Financial Management (BFM) professional who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We are recruiting a Senior BFM with Navy/DoD acquisition financial experience to support the management of business financial operations, planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of our customer’s shipbuilding program. Responsibilities: - Serve as BFM Task Lead charged with managing a team of finance management professionals in accordance with contract’s statement of work. - Provide support for overall management of business financial operations, cost analysis, planning, programming, budgeting, briefing, and execution of the shipbuilding program. - Review, monitor, and assist the Program Office to determine the correct appropriations when budgeting and executing. - Assist in the development and review of budget backup documentation to support production, delivery schedules, and milestones in the SCN, RDT&E, OPN and OMN appropriations. - Assist in the preparation and defense of the annual SCN and RDT&E Execution Reviews, and re-ev...
