Description The Department of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine, seeks a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to serve as the Medical Director for Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital (YNHPH) Adolescent Unit and Assistant or Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Yale School of Medicine. Yale-New Haven Hospital is the major teaching and clinical research facility of the Yale University School of Medicine and consistently ranks among the best hospitals in the United States. Yale-New Haven Hospital encompasses the Yale-New Haven Psychiatric Hospital a 118 bed, acute care, psychiatric facility that consists of five main inpatient programs and several specialized step-down intensive outpatient hospital programs for adolescents and adults across two hospital campus locations and access to Interventional Psychiatric Services including ECT and Ketamine. The successful candidate will be an inspiring and collaborative leader with a demonstrated ability to build and guide an inpatient team.
