What You’ll Do As an Early College Teacher at Veritas Prep High School you’ll push into the Early College (EC) courses and support students academically and socially as they navigate the class, offering a weekly Early College Lab to help students master the skills and content of the college course. You’ll also work with a team to create a community where students of all identities feel safe, seen, and included, centering students and fostering student-led discourse, critical thinking, and leadership skills. You’ll also: - Support students to be successful in Early College (EC) classes. - Attend EC classes on the high school and/or college campuses and engage from the student perspective by taking notes, previewing coursework, understanding syllabus and assignments. - Maintain accurate and complete records of students' academic and behavioral progress and development. - Provide accurate attendance records and sit in on all assigned college courses. - Provide instructional and behavior management support of students during classes (as determined by each college professor). - Serve as a point of contact for Springfield Technical Community College and Worcester State University faculty...
