Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Provide support internationally and within the INDOPACOM region to support effective and sustainable EPR regional engagement and country engagement planning. Provide support to other regions as directed/ as needed. - Provide research and insights on international policy frameworks, initiatives, and technical developments relevant to radiological and nuclear EPR. - Support proactive engagement to coordinate and drive programs on EPR-related functions within the office, broader DOE/NNSA, and with interagency partners, including those from the Department of State and the Department of War. - Review the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) events calendar to identify and coordinate upcoming IAEA activities related to EPR. Maintain a strong relationship with the IAEA on EPR efforts at the action officer/ program staff level within the INDOPACOM region. - Support U.S. national security and energy objectives by working collaboratively with international counterparts to support programmatic initiatives. - Identify, clean, process and analyze international and domestic datasets to support rigorous data-based prioritization of engagements. - Support briefings and...
