SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking an HR Generalist who will serve as the onsite HR point of contact, providing end-to-end support for team members’ HR needs. The person in this role will partner closely with headquarters and key stakeholders to ensure consistent, high-quality team member experience. RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct and/or support investigations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations Lead and support key team member experiences (including pre-boarding, onboarding, transitions and offboarding). - Serve as the contact for employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, manager coaching, disciplinary actions (in partnership with the HQ Employee Relations team), and compliance support. - Provide day-to-day coaching and feedback to leaders and team members to strengthen culture and enhance engagement on the job site. - Partner with project leadership to proactively assess workforce needs and ensure the site is staffed and supported for success. - Plan and facilitate morale-building initiatives and recognition efforts to promote a positive, inclusive work environment. - Act as the HR liaison between project operations and HQ, ens...
