Job description

Pediatric hospital looking for Groundskeeper to help care for and improve hospital grounds. This position will also be responsible to assist in the upkeep of hospital buildings to include monthly pesticide application, and pool maintenance. Licensure in herbicide, pesticide, and pool operator is preferred but training will be provided. Join our team and help us create a great atmosphere for our patients Salary: $16.50 per hour. Requirements: Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of one year of experience in gardening, lawn care or greenhouse work. Preferred : - Performs and supervises work involving landscape activities, such as the installation and - maintenance of turf areas, flower beds, shrubs and trees. - Maintain records and timelines of planting cycles, chemical applications to include location of application, expiration dates of supplies and chemicals needed to care for building and grounds. - Ensures supplies are available to complete necessary tasks. Under the direction of the Construction Maintenance Administrator, places purchase orders for supplies needed.
