The role focuses on delivering step‑change improvements in safety and performance by sharing best practices and lessons learned across rigs and regions, while proactively identifying and escalating risks to prevent continuation bias. Using a data‑driven approach and digital and automation tools, the ROC Well Engineering Specialist identifies and removes drilling inefficiencies and performance barriers. The role also builds strong, collaborative working relationships across the Remote Operations Centre, regional engineering teams, and Wells technical specialists.
