Worker Type Regular: Job Description: Summary: The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Technician is to test/assemble Counter UAS (C-UAS) systems and products in our manufacturing facility following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions. Position Responsibilities: · Primary duty is the construction of mechanical and electrical assemblies using hand and precision tools · Final assembly of systems with the use of heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts · Testing and troubleshooting of sub-assemblies and final assemblies · Electrical wiring fabrication / soldering of components and wiring · Light machining and fabrication of metal and composite parts · Working with other production technicians and engineering to correct and improve upon any documentation, electrical and mechanical designs. · Working with manufacturing engineers to improve assembly efficiency, improve product quality, reduce manufacturing costs and validate released assembly/ fabrication documentation · Responsible for ensuring that work tracking paperwork is completed as the work is performed · May also train other technicians in build and testing process · Maintaining a clean and safe w...
