Position Overview: - Bonus : Up to $15,000 (if applicable) - Department : Electrophysiology Lab - Schedule : Full-Time Days - Work Location : UAB St. Vincent's East - Trussville - Benefits for eligible positions only include : generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: To set up sterile fields, prep patients for cases and operate mapping equipment during cases. To operate multiple pieces of equipment that are utilized. To troubleshoot equipment issues. - Admits and orients patient to electrophysiology lab according to pre-procedural checklist. Accurately enters patient information to database, hemodynamic and x-ray systems. Explains testing procedure to patient and/or significant others including exam to be performed, type of contrast media used, length of exam and equipment necessary to perform exam. - Maintains all the equipment and accessories needed for cases and completes the room inventory. - Sets up rooms for cases and performs as scrub assistant. - Operates and maintaining electrophysiology lab equipment, including cardiac mapping systems and intracardiac echocardiography machines. - M...
