Assistant Stage Manager Alvin Ailey Dance Foundation is seeking an experienced individual to serve as Assistant Stage Manager, reporting to the Production Stage Manager of Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Position Summary: This position supports the Production Stage Manager, Company Management, Production Crew, and the Dancers of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater (AAADT). The role is seasonal, with 43 guaranteed work weeks for the 2026–2027 season. The selected candidate must be a member of the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA). Responsibilities include supporting rehearsals and performances in the city of origination, domestic and international tours, and special events. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a strong background in dance stage management. This individual should demonstrate excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills, along with a proactive, self-motivated work ethic.
