Onancock, Virginia Overview: The Environmental Aide performs proper housekeeping and cleaning that meets state requirements, regulatory agency requirements, facility regulatory requirements, RHS Infection Control standards, and Environmental Services policies and procedures. Ensures a neat, clean and safe work environment is maintained. Ensures adequate supplies for cleaning and assists team members with moving equipment, cleaning and beds. What you will do: - Cleans all assigned areas, including but not limited to patient rooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, elevators and ancillary areas such as nurses’ stations, laboratories, lounges, locker rooms, etc. by means not limited to sweeping, washing, mopping, dusting, disinfecting and sanitizing. - Uses the correct cleaners for the intended task and labels/stores chemicals safely and properly. - Restocks supplies and cleans carts daily in order to maintain a smooth flow of operations. Areas of responsibility are stocked with paper goods, soaps, chemicals and reusable goods as applicable.
