POSITION SUMMARY: Play a supporting role on the Business Intelligence Collaborative team by building reports in Power BI to present analytics which are necessary for decision-making; analyzing daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly financial and operational transactions and preparing reports for BJU Press departments. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Use SQL and DAX to create Microsoft Power BI which produce reports supporting decision-making. - Provide quality assurance for other data analyst(s) report builds. - Run queries and present the results in a format easily understood by the requestor of the data by using charts and PowerPoint. - Use pivot tables and other methods of data manipulation within Excel to help with analyzing data. - Maintain Power BI reports by fixing issues as they arise, troubleshooting and solving problems.
