Full-time Day 80 hours bi-weekly Monday - Friday: 8am - 4:30pm 2 yrs nursing experience Radiation RN Requirements: - Expectation is to take ONS Radiation certification within 1 year of hire and/or - Expectation is to take ONS Radiation certification within 2 years of hire (when available) - Active participant with SW & Dietitian with Head & Neck Support Group - Member of OSL Oncology Nurse Practice Council – representing the radiation practice at Sechler – meets every 6 weeks - Member of the SFCC Safety Council – meets every 6 meets General Summary: Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care, patient/family teaching, symptom management, counseling, and supportive role to assist the patients and their families. May require specialized skills depending on location/unit/specialty assignment.
