Description Exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced medical team within a growing federally qualified community health center. HealthFirst Family Care Center, Inc . “The Heart of Our Community” provides comprehensive services including adult/pediatric medical care, health education, health assessment and screenings, gynecology, cardiology, behavioral health, substance use treatment, and adult/pediatric dental care. YHAC (Youth Health Advisory Council) Summary: Under the general direction of the CHRO, the YHAC Coordinator leads the YHAC by recruiting and mentoring students, facilitating meetings, coordinating education workshops, and guiding youth-led health projects. Coordinates the YHAC calendar of workshops and trainings on adolescent health, public health careers, and wellness topics in partnership with school staff, healthcare professionals, and community organizations. The role also builds strong relationships with high schools, manages scholarship opportunities, and develops internship placements within the organization.
