THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT ATTEMPT TO LIST ALL OF THE DUTIES THAT ARE OR MAY BE PERFORMED IN THIS POSITION Primary Duties: 1.Develops positive working relationships with municipal and state elected officials and staff, business and community leaders and other key community stakeholders in order to shape the external environment by promoting the division's public image, products and services. 2.Administers the division's community relations program. Serves as the local point of contact for charitable and civic contributions. Holds community board positions and participates in economic development groups and associations as needed to further the company's objectives in that community. 3.Leads the franchise renewal process to assure that the division maintains an effective operational relationship with communities and is perceived as a respected corporate citizen by franchising authority. 4.Provides operational support such as responding to emergency situations, town outages, right of way issues, and system integrity issues. 5.Delivers regulatory and governmental support as necessary in the division for regulatory filings, legislative support or other governmental activity. 6.Serve...
