Controller (Nonprofit Accounting) Hillel International Role Overview: Are you a seasoned nonprofit accounting and finance professional who excels at overseeing complex financial operations, strengthening internal controls, and delivering accurate, insightful reporting in a mission- driven organization? Do you excel in a dynamic work environment balancing core operational functions, varied deliverables, and strategic partnerships? As Controller at Hillel International, you will be a senior operational lead, reporting to the VP of Finance and Accounting, who oversees the full accounting cycle with a $60M+ operating budget, supporting multiple program areas and complex funding streams. In this role, you will partner closely with programmatic and administrative leaders across the organization to support budgeting, financial planning, and performance management. You will also identify opportunities to improve financial systems and workflows, implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reporting, and ensure the organization maintains the highest standards of nonprofit accounting compliance.
