FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday Position Summary: MultiCare Plastic Surgery offers cosmetic surgical services at its clinic in Tacoma, Washington near Tacoma General Hospital. The Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) serves as a key member of the Plastic Surgery team. They are responsible for all aspects of clerical duties assigned by a clinic. Duties include variations of—greeting patients, answering phones, and directing calls, assisting patients/families; scheduling, registration, charge entry, payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, operating several types of basic office equipment, etc. They are also responsible for ensuring that appropriate referrals are made to participating providers, with the patient’s health plan.
