Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in Macon, GA. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with a 1 hr. lunch and rotating Saturdays May start as early as 7:30am depending on business needs and travel and work as late as 6:00pm depending on business needs and travel Floater will be covering Vidalia -Eastman, Warner Robins, Macon, Fort Valley, and Perry, Georgia areas Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed . Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist Preferred Qualifications: 3 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
