The Principal Designer is a project-based role and will, in general, work under the supervision of Engineering Manager primarily in developing conceptual plant designs for project implementation. The tasks you'll perform: - Assist with the development of man-hour budgets and design schedules for Study /EPCM estimates. - Facilitate design reviews through the development stages of the project design. - Demonstrate a sound understanding of fabrication and construction techniques in the materials handling industry. - Review and interpret vendor certified drawings and design data. - Manage subordinates’ review of vendor certified documentation and the dissemination of vendor information to discipline engineers / drafting resources for interface checking. - Managemen...
