Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $19.33 - Midpoint: $24.18 (Hourly N5) Department/Organization: 208443 - UMC Pediatrics: Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some evening hours required Job Summary: The LPN facilitates quality patient care within the scope of licensure. Additional Department Summary: Partners with other clinical staff and providers to ensure medical students, residents and other learners academic and clinical experience prepares them to succeed in their post education endeavors. Supports the enterprise services division of the college, including Health Informatics, Medical Billing, Medical Records and others to ensure patient billing and documentation are complete and accurate and follow all HIPPA and other regulatory requirements. This position will be assigned to the University Medical Center Pediatrics Clinic. Required Minimum Qualifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Alabama in good standing. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have a current CPR certification and have used an electronic health record system in a previous learning or employed role.
