Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center Position Type: Full-Time Contract Schedule: Monday – Friday (with on-call requirements) Position Overview: Venesco, LLC is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to provide onsite psychiatric services to veterans at the Department of Veterans Affairs medical facility in Memphis, TN. This role involves delivering comprehensive, high-quality psychiatric care in a setting that meets or exceeds national standards, supporting both inpatient and outpatient mental health services . Key Responsibilities: Direct Patient Care (Approx. 95%): Inpatient Psychiatry: - Admit, evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric patients - Develop and manage individualized treatment plans - Collaborate with VA mental health staff - Perform discharge and transfer planning - Complete all required medical documentation Outpatient Psychiatry: - Evaluate new patient referrals and review medical records - Provide care for patients with severe mental illness - Conduct e-consults and follow-up visits - Ensure post-discharge follow-up within 30 days Clinic & Residential...
