Description The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine, invites applications for a full-time tenure or clinical track faculty position in Nutrition. Depending on qualifications and experience, the position is at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. The successful candidate is expected to engage in the departmental mission by participating in teaching, service, and scholarship programs of the College. Responsibilities include clinical, didactic, and laboratory teaching of nutrition to professional students, interns, and residents; participation in continuing education at local and national levels; providing mentorship to residents; and contributing to the clinical or basic science research program commensurate with appointment. The University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine currently has two ACVIM (Nutrition) diplomates and multiple ACVIM-approved nutrition residency programs across on ‑ site and off ‑ site locations.
