Summary The Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Dredge)/Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment used in marine and dredging operations. This includes dredges, excavators, cranes, and other related machinery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, with a strong preference for experience in dredging or marine construction environments. The mechanic must be proficient in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems and capable of performing repairs in both shop and field settings. The pay rate for this position is $38.00-$46.00/hour.
