Description The Division of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford University seeks a board certified medical physicist possessing a Ph.D. to join the department in the Clinical Educator Line, at an academic rank commensurate with experience. The successful faculty candidate will be an outstanding medical physicist, committed teacher and excellent researcher. We are particularly interested in candidates who have recent HDR brachytherapy experience. Currently on an active license and possess a well-rounded external beam therapy experience is preferred. Our brachytherapy program continues to experience strong growth and as such needs an experienced and forward-thinking brachytherapy-oriented medical physicist. We routinely perform a wide variety of specialized procedures such as interstitial prostate HDR, applicator-based (cylinder, tandem and ovoid, Miami etc..) and interstitial gynecological HDR, LDR ocular therapy and continue to expand the range of our services.
