Hebron Lane Shepherdsville, KY 40165 Shift: 6A-230P (United States of America) Job Description Summary: Under the direct supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner, will assist during GI procedures. Provides support for the GI team with room set up, tear down, scope reprocessing, sterilizing and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, specimen collection, and assisting doctors and nursing staff as directed. Will provide direct patient care during and after procedures. Will maintain sterile field as applicable. Will float out and assist with patient care in preop and pacu areas as needed. Job Description: 1. Assists healthcare practitioners with GI procedures, to include positioning of patients, scope guidance, etc. 2. Offers direct patient care during and after procedures. 3. Cleans, sterilizes and reprocesses scope equipment. 4. Assembles sterile supplies and equipment and assists with room set up and tear down. 5. Maintains inventory. 6.
