Job Description: We are looking for a General Accountant to join our team at Airbus Operations SL in Getafe (Madrid). The candidate will be part of the GL team, producing financial records with integrity and accuracy. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheet and income statement) and report to the Airbus Group. Record and reconcile accounting transactions. Perform monthly and annual accounting closings. Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies. Collaborate with internal and external audits. Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies. Participate in the continuous improvement of accounting processes (including with the Global Services Center). Proactively identify bottlenecks and develop intelligent, automated solutions that streamline our core finance processes. Act as a catalyst for innovation within the departament by continuously proposing, testing and implementing fresh ideas to modernize traditional financial reporting using tools.
