Electronic Security Technician Columbia, Maryland: Position Summary: SCD Information Technology LLC is seeking candidates for the position of Electronic Security Technician . This position is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting intercom, intrusion alarm systems, network infrastructure, access control, and CCTV. A successful candidate should be able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, submittals, schematics, and diagrams. Maintaining and repairing electronic security equipment, including alarm systems, industrial security systems, network-based video surveillance, in addition to identifying and troubleshooting basic network-related problems on hardware or software. Responsibilities: Requirements: - Experience providing support of commercial electronic security systems. - Strong analytical skills for trouble shooting and problem solving. - Strong working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and specific tools of the trade. - Knowledge of low voltage cabling techniques and application. - Physical ability to work on ladders, in elevated heights and lift over 50lbs. - Excellent communications and customer interaction skills. - Prepare draw...
