The Opportunity Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for an Engineer - Development role supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and battery projects. The selected candidate will engage with Ulteig’s civil, structural, electrical, and high voltage design teams and our clients to provide innovative, forward thinking design solutions to facilitate the development stage design of renewable facility projects. What You'll Do: - Applies current, standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to complete engineering tasks, and supports other civil, structural, and electrical design workflows as necessary on a case-by-case basis. - Develops plans, details, and reports that are complete, accurate and in accordance with sound utility-scale renewables early-stage development engineering practices. - Works closely with and provides guidance to engineering technicians and design engineers. - Engages with clients to understand their priorities, relying on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish project goals while exceeding client expectations. - Checks design and computations performed by internal design team and provides ideas and executes to promote higher qualit...
