Job description

Job purpose A Daytime Warehouse Associate is a highly physical role. The purpose of the position is to offload trucks and confirm that all product received matches the purchase order and to accurately record and safely store inbound products in the proper location in our warehouse. In addition, a daytime Warehouse Associate may pick, prepare and pack orders for delivery. Duties and responsibilities: - Prepare the receiving dock for incoming orders and maintain a clean and orderly workspace. - Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise; t rack and monitor all inbound product for that day. - When receiving product in, breakdown Purchase Order (PO) by item on a separate pallet. - Verify product and quantities with purchase orders. - Handle all products with care to avoid damages and loss - Compare packing list to the product received, all numbers should match. If not, note this on the packing list and inform the Operations Supervisor or the VP of Operations. - When doing “ put away ” confirm total by pallet/cases from dock status to reserve location. - Use pump pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, sit-down hi-lo forklift, stand-up hi-lo forklift and...
