Job description
Overview The Research Assistant will recruit and onboard research participants, new staff, and trainees. This position will serve as the main point of contact for project-related inquiries both outside and within the Institute. This staff member works directly with stakeholders, grant collaborators, community partners, and research staff to accomplish the goals of given research project(s). The incumbent will monitor systems and processes; provide updates; ensure data accuracy; support the training functions; and assist in the preparation of grant submissions and progress reports. Responsibilities: 1. Assist in clinical research studies of Neuroepigenetic Disorders.a. Collaborate in the development of research protocols.b. Organize research involving collecting measures according to research protocols from research participants, parents/caregivers, and other sources at designated intervals.2. Assist with the coordination and communications of research projects in accordance with the funding agency’s award statement, including the recruitment of participants, implementation of all aspects of study protocols, and communications with collaborating investigator teams.3.
