Department Institute of Utility Security and Resilience (IUSR) Compensation: $90,000.00 to $100,000 Annual General Description/Primary Purpose: This position supports pavement performance research activities by contributing to the collection, analysis, and reporting of pavement materials and performance data. The role applies established analytical methods and research protocols to assist in experimental design, data management, and evaluation efforts that support the quality and reliability of pavement research outcomes. The Staff Asphalt Research Engineer works collaboratively with research colleagues and senior technical staff to implement research initiatives and emerging tools that enhance the value and usability of pavement data. This position is located on-site in the Pavement Research Unit of the FDOT State Materials Office in Gainesville, FL.
