POSITION SUMMARY: The Associate Director, Transactional Accounting is responsible for the Organization’s financial transaction processing including Payroll, Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). This position will manage the daily activities of the Payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide oversight to the payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions to ensure accuracy and timely processing. Perform thorough review of payroll registers, 401K contributions, invoicing, collections, check and ACH runs, wire support, settlement of intercompany transactions and accounting system data entry and reconciliation. - Support staff in the resolution or remediation of any open issues or bottlenecks related to all aspects of financial transaction processing including employee payments, expense reports, credit cards, sales tax, collections, invoices and credit memos, three-way match variances and payment approvals. - Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct annual performance appraisals.
