Job Summary Under the supervision and direction of the EH&S Department head, the EH&S Assistant primarily performs administrative duties for Institute safety and occupational health programs. This includes database management, record keeping, filing, organization of various EH&S programs and support toward development of department initiatives. Additional technical duties include inspection monitoring of building safety equipment and emergency management coordination support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Coordinate EH&S safety training sessions. Schedule and arrange to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies and update records accordingly. - Assist with the development and presentation of training sessions - Coordinate safety and compliance committee meetings, including minute taking - Facilitate medical surveillance and occupational health program per LJI standards and in compliance with regulations as applicable - Handle and oversee information related to injury cases with occupational health provider - Coordinate with HR involving workers’ comp cases - Assist with procurement, invoicing and budgeting - Institutional compliance committees administrative support (...
