Job description

As the TA Medical Lead you will be accountable for the strategic direction, medical business and resource planning of the therapeutic area (TA). You will direct and support this function to assure operational effectiveness, efficiencies through a continuous improvement approach and ensures optimal use of medical resources to support our portfolio. You will also lead the further development of a customer facing medical organization. Job Responsibilities: Support the implementation of the overall strategy for the TA in a cross functional model. Provide strong leadership in managing the team including Medical Managers, Medical Advisors, field-based Team. Develop the team including but not limited to performance management, talent management, training and career development. Responsible for therapeutic area insights within the TA and ensure high scientific knowledge in the team. Responsible for supervising the TA Medical Affair’s activities, ensuring operational excellence.
