Position Overview: - Department: CVOR - Schedule: Full Time Days - Work Location: UAB St Vincent's Birmingham - Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do: Coordinate surgical services activities and tasks in support of patient care. - Coordinate the clinical patient care of surgical services. - Serve as a technical or functional resource for staff and perform similar patient care duties. Assign, monitor and review progress of work. Monitor and report compliance with policies and procedures. - Coordinate shift operations including scheduling, assigned activities, and resources. - Evaluate and oversee orientation and training of assigned associates. May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance. - Oversee utilization and maintenance of supplies, instruments, and equipment What You Will Need: Education: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
