Senior Cost Analyst

Job description

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Senior Cost Analyst to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including providing technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services. This full-time on-site position is contingent upon contract award. Essential Functions: - Develop complex spreadsheets, program budget briefings, Work Authorizations, and approved funding program documentation. - Coordinate, update, and plan with the Federal Budget Analysts to distribute guidance, schedules, databases, and logistics for the Federal Program Managers (FPM) and sites for annual (and a hoc) Budget Summits. - Prepare monthly uncosted reports and evaluate funding data against program and Nuclear Security Enterprise (NSE) sites spending plans. - Perform analysis and create reports for the FPMs and other Budget Analysts to provide explanation of spending variances, which include costs and encumbrances. - Providing the technical expertise to assess Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), Manufacturing Readiness Levels (MRLs), Phase 6.x Process, relevant DOE Orders (e.g., 413.3B “Program and Project Ma...
