Description The SVP, Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee critical operational functions, ensuring seamless integration across the Norman, Health Sciences Center, and Tulsa campuses. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record of managing large-scale operations across diverse functions. They will have a strong ability to foster collaboration, promote efficiency, and implement strategic initiatives to drive continuous improvement and excellence in operational services. Reporting directly to the University President, Joe Harroz, this senior executive will be responsible for the Human Resources, Information Technology, Capital Projects, Campus Safety and Emergency Preparedness, Facilities & Operations, and Strategic Initiatives, among others. The COO will serve as member of President Harroz’s Senior Leadership team, which includes the Chief of Staff/VP for Executive Affairs, General Counsel, VP of Research & Partnerships, Chief Financial Officer, SVP – Provost of Norman Campus, and SVP – Provost of Health Sciences Center.
