Feed Mill Utility Associate - 2nd Shift

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Feed Mill Utility Associate performs housekeeping, cleaning, and tasks associated with ensuring the work area is safe, secure, presentable, and operational. This position also processes visitors, vendors and ensures that traffic flow and truck deliveries are processed correctly and orderly. The position also assists with the receiving of feed ingredients. The Feed Mill Utility Associate assists in emergency situations as requested. RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: - Follow daily housekeeping procedures in the Feed Mill and conducts Feed Mill grounds maintenance. - Control access of staff, visitors, and trucks entering the property to ensure entry to those authorized are allowed to enter; verify credentials of all visitors and obtain approval from appropriate personnel. - Review and log inspection paperwork for incoming and outgoing trucks, direct traffic and coordinate routes with appropriate personnel while trucks are on property ensuring trucks route to specified areas according to cargo carried (live animals or supplies). - Understand basic animal food safety and personal hygiene as it relates to the protection of animal food. - Perform all work in compliance wi...
