Well & Pump Mechanic

Weston & Sampson CMR is seeking a Mechanic to work on a team servicing water wells and pumping equipment throughout New England based out of Rocky Hill, Connecticut. What you’ll do: - Working on and around heavy equipment for the removal, disassembly, inspection, reinstallation and testing of large capacity vertical turbine and submersible well pumps. - Chemical treatment and reconditioning of water supply wells. - Troubleshooting of pumping equipment failures and minor pipeline work. - Overnight travel is required on occasion What you will bring: #LI-Remote - 1 to 5-years’ experience within the industry preferred - Mechanical skills including cutting and welding experience (certified a plus) - Familiarity with electrical and pumping systems a plus - CDL preferred - OSHA 10 training required - Crane Operator/Hoisting license or the ability to obtain - Good written and verbal communication, basic math, problem solving and organizational skills - Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and must be able to climb a ladder - Valid driver's license Overview: Weston & Sampson is an 100% employee-owned, full-service environmental and infrastructure consulting firm made up of more than 800 p...
