Terminal Operator

Job description

We are seeking a qualified candidate with a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to do what it takes to succeed, for our Terminal Operator opening at our Columbus, OH location. - Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, backhoes, skid steers - Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound trucks - Perform routine equipment checks and report any mechanical or safety concerns promptly - Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and operational guidelines to maintain a safe work area - Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free terminal environment - Maintaining and operating facilities and equipment; general maintenance - Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and ongoing continuous improvement initiatives - High School Diploma or GED equivalent required - Previous equipment operating experience (e.g., loader, backhoe, skid steer, etc.) is preferred - Working knowledge of material handling systems, including pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components; a plus - Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with the Terminal Manager and effectively collaborate with the team - Demonstrated commitment to safety, inclu...
